What's New?

Your Hero's attributes now directly affect combat performance! Strength makes you hit harder, Coordination makes you harder to hit, and Quickness makes you attack faster. You can also equip weapons and armor to further customize your battle performance.

Understanding Your Hero's Combat Stats

Primary Attributes

Your Hero has six core attributes that affect combat:

Strength (Red) 🔴

  • What it does: Increases melee damage and health

  • How much: +0.5% damage per point above 10, +1 health per point

  • Best for: Warriors who want to deal massive damage

Endurance (Green) 🟢

  • What it does: Increases health, stamina, and determines what armor you can wear

  • How much: +2 health per point, +1 stamina per point

  • Best for: Tanks who want to survive longer

Coordination (Blue) 🔵

  • What it does: Reduces incoming damage and improves ranged weapon accuracy

  • How much: -0.5% damage taken per point above 10

  • Best for: Rangers and defensive fighters

Quickness (Purple) 🟣

  • What it does: Increases movement speed and attack speed

  • How much: +0.5 movement speed per point, -0.5% attack cooldown per point above 10

  • Best for: Fast, aggressive fighters

Focus (Yellow) 🟡

  • What it does: Affects mana and magic damage (coming soon!)

  • Best for: Future spellcasters

Self (Cyan) 🔵

  • What it does: Affects mana and magic defense (coming soon!)

  • Best for: Future magic-resistant builds

Equipment System

Weapons

Every Hero starts with a Basic Sword, but you can find and equip better weapons:

Melee Weapons

  • Swords: Balanced damage and speed, require Strength

  • Daggers: Fast attacks, lower damage, require Coordination

  • Axes: High damage, slower attacks, require Strength

Ranged Weapons

  • Bows: Use arrows, require Coordination

  • Crossbows: Use bolts, require Coordination + Strength

Armor

Protect yourself with armor that reduces incoming damage:

Armor Types

  • Leather: Light protection, no speed penalty

  • Iron: Medium protection, small speed penalty

  • Plate: Heavy protection, significant speed penalty

Armor Slots

  • Head: Helmet

  • Chest: Chestplate (most important)

  • Legs: Greaves

Ammunition

Ranged weapons need ammunition:

  • Wooden Arrows: Basic arrows, no damage bonus

  • Iron Arrows: +2 damage

  • Steel Arrows: +4 damage

  • Bolts: For crossbows, similar damage bonuses

  • Iron Sword: Strength 20

  • Heavy Axe: Strength 30

  • Quick Dagger: Coordination 15

  • Short Bow: Coordination 15

  • Long Bow: Coordination 25

  • Light Crossbow: Coordination 20 + Strength 15

Armor Requirements

  • Leather Armor: Endurance 10 (everyone can use)

  • Iron Armor: Endurance 25

  • Plate Armor: Endurance 50

Do I need to equip a weapon?

A: Yes, wearing multiple pieces of heavy armor will slow you down significantly. Consider the trade-off between protection and mobility.
