Prediction Markets

Through the normal course of play, audience members will be exposed to the ability to make a prediction on who will win the match. This is done by purchasing shares of that outcome on an open marketplace called a Prediction Market. For example, during a match, you may see that SoulWarrior may have a 50% chance of winning. You may have seen SoulWarrior in action before, and have a feeling their chances of winning is higher than that!

In a Prediction Market during a match, audiences can try to predict the outcome by buying shares. If you think SoulWarrior will win, buy "Yes" shares. If others disagree, they buy "No" shares. As the match continues, "Yes" prices go up if more people bet on them, while "No" prices drop. When the match ends, winning predictions get the losing side's shares. If SoulWarrior wins, "Yes" share buyers profit; if they lose, "No" buyers profit.

As the "Yes" and "No" shares are both priced in $SOULWARS tokens, owning the token gives you the ability to participate in the trading of "Yes" and "No" positions.
